The family frequently clashes with House Chalise because the Lemisacos possess ancient knowledge but rarely share it.

Relationship with the Crown

The Lemisacos supported Queen Zauriel and remain loyal to House Aurelian. The House's finest warriors serve many roles within the ranks of the Royal Army and Navy. 

However, they have begun expressing concern about the rise of the Fourfold End and the increasing number of forgotten historical records.

House Nythra

Race: Dark Elves

Reputation

Most outsiders distrust House Nythra.

The Nythrans encourage this.

Unlike the stereotypical dark elves of many settings, the Nythrans are not inherently evil.

They simply value pragmatism above sentiment, and will defend their house to the last.

They maintain extensive spy networks throughout:

  • Quilarim
  • Isadmia
  • Theocracy of Douna

If someone in Kethira wants a secret discovered, they often seek a Nythran.

House Stonemantle

The Dwarves

Seat: Khor Duran Castle, Mount Kharos

Race: Dwarves

Influence:

  • Smithing

  • Military logistics

A mountain crowned by an anvil.

"From Stone, Strength."

Reputation

If House Durn controls the mines politically, House Stonemantle controls them practically.

Most of the master miners and engineers of:

  • Slateholm
  • Barrow's Edge

are dwarves of House Stonemantle.

The kingdom would suffer economic collapse without them.

Relationship with House Thorne

These two families are constant rivals.

House Thorne invents things.

House Stonemantle builds things.

Both insist the other is incompetent.

Relationship with Dragons

The Stonemantles possess ancient records concerning dragon territories.

Many of the maps used to track giant and dragon movements originated from their archives.

Kethira - The Region and its Geography

  About Kethira:  (Scale: 1 hex = 26 miles) In the country of Kethira, it is sixty-seven years after the end of the War Of Black Ash. The current king is King Zerne II, a king whose best years are behind him. King Zerne II has reigned on the throne for 22 years now, succeeding his mother, Queen Zauriel. Zerne’s steady leadership has brought stability to the region, but that does not mean the dangers are not present.   Kethira is a peninsula that is surrounded on three sides by the Sea of Erone. Its southern boundary is the Eurne River. The country is split by the Eurdona Mountains, and the towns and cities are mainly on the eastern side.   The western side of the Thurdona Mountains is a “No Man’s Land”. This region is called the Land of Null, and they are ruled by the Lich-King, Nhal-Vorath. The land remains in a perpetual state of gray, with undead and monsters inhabiting the forests. The Free Clans are independent peoples who owe allegiance to their own traditions rather than the Crown of Kethira.
